Britain's only headteacher (out of around 20,000) has publicly criticized lockdowns, mandatory mask wearing and Covid vaccines for children. He sees their protection as everyone's moral duty and criticizes the fact that there is no discussion about it. Before 2020, his 30 years of professional experience and innovations in the education sector were celebrated internationally, especially his concept of self-development of students by taking them out of their comfort zone, which promotes risk-taking and resilience. To promote courageous, critical thinking, he published the books Playing with Fire, Wildness and Rewilding Childhood. Like many other government critics, he has been monitored by the British Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution since 2020, censored on social media platforms and vilified in the media as a dangerous extremist. He was fired from his job as headteacher, against which he is now suing in court. The silence of his colleagues and the phenomenon of self-censorship have prompted him to write a new book. The Hero's Voice. It was published in 2024 and describes the inner struggle to make the right decisions for humanity and moral values on the path of a mythological hero. Grossbritanniens einziger Schulleiter (von ca. 20.000) übte öffentliche Kritik zu Lockdowns, Maskenpflicht und Covid-Impfstoffen für Kinder. Er sieht ihren Schutz als die moralische Pflicht aller und kritisiert, dass darüber keine Disskussion stattfindet. Vor 2020 wurden seine 30-jährige Berufserfahrung und Innovationen auf dem Bildungssektor international gefeiert, insbesondere sein Konzept zur Selbstentwicklung der Schüler durch Herausholen aus der Komfortzone, welches Risikobereitschaft und Widerstandsfähigkeit fördert. Um mutiges, kritisches Denken zu fördern veröffentlichte er die Bücher Mit dem Feuer spielen, Wildes Wesen und Wiederverwilderung der Kindheit. Wie viele andere Regierungs-Kritiker auch, wurde er seit 2020 vom britischen Verfassungsschutz beobachtet, auf Social Media Plattformen zensiert und medial als gefährlicher Extremist verleumdet. Seine Stelle als Schulleiter wurde ihm gekündigt, wogegen er nun gerichtlich klagt. Das Schweigen seiner Kollegen sowie das Phänomen der Selbstzensur haben ihn dazu veranlasst ein neues Buch zu schreiben. The Hero’s Voice. Es ist 2024 erschienen und beschreibt den inneren Kampf, die richtigen Entscheidungen für Menschlichkeit und moralische Werte zu treffen, auf dem Pfad eines mythologischen Helden.
